The Asian Volleyball Confederation announced the 2023 tournament schedule, according to which the volleyball countries of the old continent will compete in 13 Asian events and 9 global events

The volleyball competitions of the Asian continent will start on April 16 next year with the championship of women’s clubs of the old continent and will end on October 7 with the announcement of the champion of the women’s volleyball competition of the Asian Games of China

Indoor volleyball with 9 events and beach volleyball with four tournaments have a share in a total of 13 tournaments in 2023 of the Asian Volleyball Confederation

In addition to Asian events next year, Iranian volleyball must participate in important and sensitive global events, including the League of Nations 2023, the world junior and youth boys’ championship, men’s Olympic qualifiers, the world club championship and the world beach volleyball championship

In the meantime, the Volleyball Nations League competitions are of particular importance due to the importance of the World Federation ranking and the Olympic qualifying competitions, and in general, due to Iran’s hosting of the Asian Men’s Championship and also the Asian Games, it is a critical and decisive year for volleyball. 1- Asian women’s club championship from April 16 to April 23 in Vietnam

2- Asian men’s club championship from May 14 to 21 in Bahrain

3- Under-16 Championship of Asian girls from June 5 to June 12 in China

4- Under-16 Championship of Asian boys from June 18 to June 25 in Uzbekistan

5- Asian Women’s Challenger Cup from June 18 to June 25 in Indonesia

6- Beach Volleyball Under-21 Championship of Asia (summer of 2023)

7- Beach Volleyball Asian Championship from July 26 to July 30 in China

8- Asia Pango free beach tour from August 4 to 7 in Chinese Taipei

9- Asian men’s championship from August 18 to August 26 in Iran (Tehran)

10- Asian women’s championship from September 2 to 10 in Thailand

11- Asian Games men’s volleyball tournament from September 19 to September 26 in China

12- Asian Games beach volleyball from September 19 to September 28 in China

13- Asian Games women’s volleyball tournament from September 28 to October 7 in China

The list of 2023 world volleyball events in which Iran’s representative will participate is as follows:

1- The first week of the League of Nations from June 6 to June 11 in Japan

2- The second week of the League of Nations from June 20 to June 25 in the Netherlands

3- The third week of the League of Nations from July 4 to July 9 in America

4- The final stage of the League of Nations (host and time unknown)

5- 2024 Olympic selection in the men’s group from September 30 to October 8 (Japan hosts a group of three events)

6- World beach volleyball championship from October 6 to October 12 in Mexico

7- World Men’s Club Championship from December 4 to December 17

8- World Boys Junior Championship (host and time unknown)

9- Boy World Youth Championship (host and time unknown)
