The Dream Team of Asian Championship
The Dream Team of the 26th Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship has been announced, with Ali Hajipour from Foolad Sirjan Iranian being named the Most Valuable Player (MVP).
According to the Public Relations Department of the Volleyball Federation, the 26th Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship, which began on September 8 with the participation of 8 teams, concluded today (Sunday, September 15) after 24 matches, with Foolad Sirjan Iranian emerging as the champions.
In the final match, Foolad Sirjan Iranian faced Shahdab Yazd, with Shahdab Yazd finishing as the runner-up after their defeat. The representatives from Indonesia and Kazakhstan secured the third and fourth places, respectively.
The technical committee selected the Dream Team of the 2024 Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship, with Ali Hajipour from Foolad Sirjan being named the MVP.
The Dream Team includes six Iranian players and two players from the Jakarta and Pavlodar teams.
The best players of the 2024 Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship are as follows:
- Best Middle Blocker: Masoud Gholami from Shahdab Yazd and Armin Ghelichniazi from Foolad Sirjan
- Best Outside hitter: Amirhossein Esfandiar from Foolad Sirjan and Mikael Yustino from Pavlodar, Kazakhstan
- Best Opposite Spiker: Jean Patry from Jakarta, Indonesia
- Best Setter: Ali Ramezani from Foolad Sirjan Iranian
- Best Libero: Mahdi Marandi from Foolad Sirjan Iranian
- Most Valuable Player (MVP): Ali Hajipour from Foolad Sirjan Iranian
