All FIVB Educational Courses Brought Together on E-Learning PlatformCourses for athletes, coaches and referees are now available on one platform
Earlier this year, the FIVB launched its E-Learning Platform which brings together all online educational courses offered by the FIVB to its stakeholders.
Developed by Penceo’s The Learning LAB, the platform hosts every single online course available for players, coaches and referees. The courses currently available include the Course on Prevention of Competition Manipulation, the Play Clean Course, Volleyball Coaches Courses Level 1 and 2, Beach Volleyball Coaches Course, Train the Trainer programme and Referees Resource Center for volleyball and beach volleyball.
The FIVB E-Learning Platform integrates an upgraded user experience with a user-friendly back office to ensure that the learning and management experience is smooth and enjoyable for all users.
Learners can also check their individual progress, exam results and receive their course certificates through the platform. In addition, the platform allows the FIVB and platform users to interact through polls, updates, email notifications and a chat function.

Discussing the platform, Head of the FIVB Technical and Development Department Steve Tutton said:
“We were very excited to work with The Learning LAB to create the FIVB E-Learning Platform which provides a one-stop solution for our stakeholders to participate in courses and improve their knowledge of our sport and key issues in sport. The platform also allows the FIVB staff to interact with users to help ensure a good learning experience for the athletes, coaches and referees.”
CEO of TheLearning LAB, Pascal Willoughby Petit, said:
“At the Learning Lab we are very proud to have partnered with the FIVB to support them with the technology for their e Learning needs. This comes after many years of collaboration that we look forward to continuing to build on in the future. We hope our Learning Management Platform software and content production will continue to support volleyball education worldwide and help meet the FIVB’s objective of continued growth of the sport globally.”
