The Asian Volleyball Confederation published the list of eight events in 2023, where 119 teams announced their readiness to participate in these competitions
In 2023, the ancient continent of Asia will witness the holding of eight important volleyball events, and 119 teams from 28 countries of this continent announced their readiness to participate in these competitions
Asian men’s and women’s volleyball championships, Asian men’s and women’s club championships, Asian boys’ and girls’ under-16 championships, and Asian men’s and women’s Challenger Cup are the eight events of this statistical report
Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and Chinese Taipei, by introducing 8 teams to participate in this competition, have set the record for introducing a team in volleyball in 2023
Also, the largest number of countries registered for the Asian Men’s Championship hosted by Tehran, where 21 teams announced their readiness to participate in this tournament
In 2023, the Islamic Republic of Iran will host its fifth Asian men’s volleyball championship. 14 teams participated in 1999 and the first hosting of Iran, the three rounds of 2011, 2015, and 2019 were also held in Iran with the presence of 16 teams
It should be noted that the 19th Asian Games, which will be held from October 8 next year in 40 sports, including volleyball, hosted by China, is not included in this list

** Asian Women’s Challenger Cup
June 18 to June 25 hosted by Indonesia
14 participating teams from Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Macao, Mongolia, Philippines, Chinese Taipei, Uzbekistan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam
** Championship under 16 years of Asian girls
July 1 to 18 hosted by China
