Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship: Final Venue Inspection by Taghavi
The President of the Volleyball Federation conducted a final inspection of the venue and facilities for the upcoming Asian Men’s Club volleyball Championship, just one day before the commencement of the tournament.
According to the communications department of the Volleyball Federation, the 26th Asian Men’s Club Championship will kick off tomorrow (September 9) in Yazd, which will host some of the biggest stars in world volleyball for eight days, featuring eight teams competing against each other.
In addition to the host team, Shahdab Yazd, and the reigning champion of Iran’s Premier League 1402, Foolad Sirjan Iranian, participating teams include Sporting Club (Kuwait), Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi (Indonesia), Pavlodar Volleyball Club (Kazakhstan), Gas Al Janoob (Iraq), Al-Rayyan Sports Club (Qatar), and Kam Air (Afghanistan).
Seyed Milad Taghavi, President of the Volleyball Federation, arrived in Yazd this morning (September 17) and immediately visited the venue in Shahidyeh Yazd. During his visit, he met with the event organizers and conducted a final review of the facilities.
He also held a meeting with representatives from the local law enforcement to ensure that Yazd is prepared for this significant Asian continental event in 2024.
