Ataei: we tried to use all the capacities of volleyball

The head coach of Iran’s national volleyball team said: We tried to use all the volleyball capacities properly because we have a very difficult year ahead and it is important to be able to be in the best condition with the best conditions and have the best performance in next year’s competitions

In the fateful year of 2023, the Iranian national volleyball team participated in four important events of the League of Nations 2023 in the countries of Japan, the Netherlands, America, and Poland (June 6 to July 23) and the Asian Men’s Championship in Iran (August 18 to August 26), Asian Games of China (September 19 to September 26), men’s Olympic qualifiers in Japan, China, and Brazil (September 30 to October 8), and Behrouz Ataei has invited 31 volleyball players from the country in the first international events to prepare the national team to participate in these four international events. The preparatory camp of this team started on April 16

The head coach of the national team explained about the start of the training: We will start the national team’s training on April 16, and apart from the legionnaires who will join the national team after the end of the club games and some players of the Shahdab team who will join the Asian club competitions. Will be added to our group, the rest of the players are in the first camp

He continued: We tried to use all the volleyball capacities properly because we have a very difficult year ahead of us and it is important that we can be in the best condition with the best conditions and have the best performance in the upcoming competitions to achieve a good result. Let’s accept these competitions and end the difficult year

Ataei explained the national team’s plan to participate in the League of Nations: According to the negotiations, the Serbian team will come to Iran before the start of the League of Nations to have a few preparatory meetings with the national team in our country, and then leave to participate in the League of Nations
