The Chinese and Korean national volleyball teams competed in the second elimination day of the tournament at Ghadir Urmia Stadium. The Chinese team emerged victorious with a 3-1 score and secured their spot in the semi-finals. They will be facing the national team of Iran, who are hosting the competition.
The Chinese national team emerged victorious in sets two, three, and four with scores of 25-22, 28-26, and 25-18 respectively, securing their spot in the top four teams of the competition. Only the first set was lost by the Chinese team with a score of 25-21 against their opponent.
During the match, the Chinese national team wore blue uniforms while Korea sported red shirts and black shorts. The match was officiated by Kane Nakayama from Japan and Ali Mahdi from Bahrain.
Based on today’s match results, the Japanese national team will compete against the Qatar national team in the upcoming first semi-final match. Tomorrow, the Iranian national team will host the Chinese national team to determine the second team to advance to the final game of the 22 cups. The winner of the final game will be crowned as the champion.
China has become the last team to advance to the semi-finals, making a total of 4 final units in this competition. This is reminiscent of the 2015 Asian men’s volleyball competition in Tehran, where Iran, China, Japan, and Qatar also played in the semi-finals and faced each other.
