Avc Championship is important for Iran’s beach volleyball

The coach of the national beach volleyball team said: Asian men’s competitions are very important for Iranian beach volleyball to advance to the world championships

The Asian Beach Volleyball Open Tour will be held from November 7 to 11 and the Asian Men’s Beach Volleyball Championship will be held in Bandar Abbas from November 14 to 18. Iran’s participation in these tournaments will be eight teams, four teams will be in the Open Tour and four teams will be in the Asian Men’s Championship

The last preparatory camp of the Iranian national beach volleyball team started on the 29 of October under the coach of Reza Naini at the dedicated field of the Volleyball Federation and will continue until Tuesday the 1st of November when they will leave for Bandar Abbas

Naini said about the participation in the upcoming two important tournaments: Abdul Hamid Mirza Ali, Arash Vakili, Bahman Salemi, Alireza Aghajani, Sina Shoukti, Abbas Pourasgari, Mojtabi Aro, Mehdi Mahfovi, Zargham Mansoori, and Habib Naseri are 10 players participating in the preparatory camps

He added: the age range of the national beach teams is 30 years, and another part is between 18 and 21 years old, and the policy is that young players are always in the camp to replace the adult players

Naini pointed out the importance of the important beach tour of Bandar Abbas in terms of points and for advancing to the Mexico 2023 World Cup and sending the national beach team to Bandar Abbas before the start of the free tour for the players to get used to the weather

The coach of the national beach volleyball teams stated that it is not customary to hold international friendly matches in beach volleyball, and said: “The national team had an opportunity to hold a few preparatory matches in the Thai Samila tournament

He continued: We could not play in this tournament because the Iranian teams were not registered due to the mistake of the Thai federation. They apologized profusely and covered all the team’s expenses. Fortunately, we had a good preparation camp in Thailand and we had friendly matches with Japan, the Philippines, and Kazakhstan, except for one match, we were victorious

Regarding the vacancy of Abolhasan Khakizadeh in beach volleyball, he said: He was one of the players who supported our team for the next 10 years in terms of defensive positions at a level beyond Asia. I wish him success in indoor volleyball, but it’s a pity that he is no longer We do not have the player. Of course, if he doesn’t succeed in indoor volleyball, he has a place to return. He has the potential to bring himself back to the high level of preparation for beach volleyball. However, he could have been more successful in this field, but he chose a good hall
