AVC MEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP 2023 / Mohammad Sabir Noori: I am not satisfied with my players despite the lack of training
The head coach of the Afghanistan national volleyball team said: We came to today’s match with only one practice in Urmia and I am completely satisfied with the performance of my players.
After his players’ defeat against Qatar, Mohammad Sabir Noori said in a conversation with reporters: “First of all, I would like to thank the Federation and the country of Iran for such hosting, which provided all the facilities in the best possible way.”
He continued: “The Afghanistan team is inexperienced and we need to practice more, but due to arriving late to Urmia, we were only allowed one hour of practice.”
The head coach of the Afghanistan national volleyball team added: However, I am satisfied with my players and they met my expectations.
The captain of the Afghanistan national volleyball team also said at the end of the match with Qatar: “We had a good start, but lack of experience cost us.”
Ebrahim Mohammad Ebrahim stated that we had a good start against Qatar and that they are a strong team and Afghanistan is less experienced, and stated: We have a chance to advance and we will go to the field with the goal of winning against India.
In the end, he emphasized: Iran is Afghanistan’s second home and I thank all the spectators of this match for their encouragement and support.
The Afghanistan team lost in their first match against Qatar on Sunday, August 20, so they need to win against India to advance.
