AVC MEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP 2023 / The Qatar started by defeating India
Qatar’s national volleyball team started the Asian men’s championship by defeating India 3-0.
The first day of the 22nd round of the Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship is being followed today, Saturday, August 19, with six matches being held in Ghadir and Shahidan Ahandoust halls in Urmia, and the second match in the main hall of the tournament are for the teams of Qatar and India.
The two teams faced each other from 16:15 and in the end, the Qatar national team managed to beat their opponent with a score of 3-0 and became the second winner of the tournament held in Ghadir Hall.
The first set of this match started with the service of the Qatar national team and while the Indian team was leading by 8-4, the Qatar team lost the previous set 25-20 due to the low mistakes of the Qatar.
In the second set, the Indians started the match better and reached 8 points earlier than Qatar.
Qatar won the third set with a score of 25-19 to win this match with a score of 3-0.
The presence of the fans in the hall and the impartial cheering of the two teams, only by presenting a beautiful game and ecstatic points, was one of the interesting points of this match, which at the end was accompanied by the praise of both teams from the fans.
In this match, Ji Huo Joo from South Korea was the first referee and Vahid Pourkashian was the second referee.
