AVC Men’s U23 Championship/Japan See Off Kazakhstan in Straight Sets
Ardabil, Iran, May 4, 2017 – On the last match of day four, Japan in a completely one-sided match defeated Kazakhstan 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 25-17)
Japanese serves messed the defence lines of Kazakhstan; the substitutions made by Oleg Kuznetsov who is reluctant to give any comments after any winning or losing results were useless.
The perfect serves of captain Taishi of Japan made it difficult for the tower players of Kazakhstan to have counter-attacks.
Fumitoshi Tokunaga, head coach of Japan after the match said: “We analyzed five tall players of Kazakhstan who was the main threat for us in this match. Tomorrow we have to watch out the receptions of Taipei because they are very tough on that.”
