AVC Men’s Volleyball Championship 2023 / Iran’s won the final friendly match
Iran’s national volleyball team defeated Japan this evening (Thursday, August 17) in its third friendly match, which is known as the preparatory final.
The 22nd Asia Men’s Volleyball Championship will be held from August 16 to September 26 with the participation of 17 teams hosted by the Islamic Republic of Iran in Urmia.
Iran’s national volleyball team, which started its training session in Urmia on August 6, this evening (Thursday, August 17) faced the Japanese team in a final friendly match at Ghadir Hall in this city and won 3-1.
Iranian players defeated the Japanese team in the first set with a score of 25-23 and won the second to fourth sets with 27-25, 25-21, and 25-21.
The Iranian team defeated Pakistan and Qatar in the two previous friendly matches with a score of 3-1.
It should be noted that Iran’s national volleyball team will face Hong Kong at 19:15 on Sunday, August 20, on the second day of the group stage.
