The head coach of Iran’s national volleyball team, Behrouz Ataei, has resigned following their match against the Czech Republic.
Behrouz Ataei, the coach of the Iran national volleyball team, commenced his coaching profession in the summer of 2021 with a triumph in the Asian men’s tournament. Under his astute guidance, the team made it to the ultimate stage of the 2022 Volleyball League of Nations.
The Islamic Republic of Iran’s national volleyball team achieved a respectable 13th place in the World Championship and 12th place in the 2023 League of Nations. Furthermore, under the guidance of their new coach, the team secured the runner-up position in the Asian Men’s Championship, which was hosted in the city of Urmia. These achievements are a testament to the team’s dedication and hard work, as well as the skillful leadership of their coach.
The Iranian national volleyball team, under the leadership of Ataei, achieved a remarkable feat by securing the gold medal and championship title at the Asian Games held in Hangzhou. Subsequently, the team traveled to Brazil to take part in the inaugural qualification round for the Paris Olympics.
The Iranian men’s volleyball team recently achieved a hard-earned victory over Qatar, resulting in a much-needed boost after experiencing losses against Germany and Ukraine. However, following their defeat by the Czech Republic, Behrouz Ataei, the team’s coach, tendered his resignation to the head of the volleyball federation this evening.
