Behrouz Ataei: We underestimated the opponentwe are looking for victory against any team in the next stage

Behrouz Ataei said after the victory against Iraq on the last day of the preliminary round: We underestimated Iraq and for that reason we left the result of the first set to the opponent.

He added: Underestimating the opponent is a weakness for the Iranian team and we should not make such mistakes.

The head coach of Iran’s national volleyball team added: Our performance did not change in the next sets, we just won with more pressure and with a big difference in points.

Atai continued: We must have our usual performance before the final whistle.
