The coach of Iran’s national volleyball team is unequivocally satisfied with his players’ performance. Additionally, he recognizes the exceptional support provided by the Urmia spectators during the match.
Behrouz Ataei expressed his satisfaction with the game after his team advanced to the semi-final stage of the Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship by defeating Pakistan. The friendly match they played with Pakistan prior to the tournament gave them a better understanding of their opponent compared to the Iraq national team.
Pakistan’s national volleyball team displayed impressive skills during the previous competition, ranking among the top eight teams in Asia. However, their unfortunate loss to the Iranian national team cannot be attributed solely to bad luck. The head coach of the Iranian team stated that his players were fully aware of the game’s significance and executed their performance flawlessly, leading to a triumphant outcome. It’s worth noting that the supportive spectators also contributed to the match’s success.
Iran’s national volleyball team has clinched a semi-final berth after defeating Pakistan. Their next challenge is on Friday, August 25th, where they will confront the victor of the South Korea vs. China match in the quarter-final stage of the tournament. This critical game is scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, August 24th.
