BIG BALL Configure in Iran

Big ball will be practiced in Iran for the first time in volleyball history. It is intended to be part of the ceremonies to attract people and providing them with information and the way it works. It is then that the official tournament is envisioned. The dimension of the ball is to be 5:5 which weighs 38 kg.

Court dimension is to be 9:11 m accommodating 20 players inside. The match will hold into two 15-point sets. The starting point will be from service line. Each team will have just 15 seconds to transfer the ball.

There exists a leader in each match wearing a different jersey who plays the role of a coordinator and gives the order to throw the ball. The leader places under the ball at the central part of it to set the players on an equal position. There is no antenna to determine match space. The players are not permitted to seek help by any means for throwing the ball.

It is going to be practiced next month at 12000-capacity hall of Azadi and if it is confirmed, it will perform in 2017 World league at the rest time between set two and three when teams are to rest for ten minutes.
