CEO of Shahdab Yazd Sports Club Hopes to Increase Women’s Seating
Yazd, Iran – The CEO of Shahdab Yazd Sports Club expressed hopes to increase the seating capacity for women in the next stage of the competition.
In a report by the Volleyball Federation’s Communications Department, Amir Sharafat began by thanking the media for their comprehensive coverage of the matches. He stated, “Today, we concluded the third group stage match with Shahdab Yazd’s third victory. Fortunately, our team is in a stable condition, but the real work begins in the final stages where the games will show their true intensity.”
Sharafat praised the opening of the court to women as a positive development, noting, “The large number of women present in the court created a great atmosphere. Many were left outside due to full capacity, but we hope to increase the seating capacity for women in the next stage.”
The CEO emphasized their efforts to honor the country’s name and provide worthy hosting, adding, “In just three months, not only in the 6,000-seat Shahdab hall but throughout the city, a significant effort has been made. We now have three halls meeting Asian standards in Yazd province, and I hope their equipment continues to improve to reach global standards.”
Sharafat concluded by saying, “For the foreign teams participating in these competitions, we have planned visits to the city of Yazd. These visits aim to introduce the history and symbols of Yazd, as well as its visual and cultural identities, to the foreign players, which will reflect positively on the global city of Yazd.”
