Dr. Davarzani Visiting the New Ambassador of Italy in Iran

Tehran, Iran, May 9, 2021 – Dr. Mohammad Reza Davarzani, IRIVF President conversed with Mr. Giuseppe Perrone, the new ambassador of Italy in Iran.

The meeting took place at the residence of the Italian embassy in Tehran. Mr. Amir khoshkhabar, the team manager of Iran men’s senior team along with Mr. Totolo, the Italian assistant coach of the team accompanied Dr. Davarzani in this meeting.

The visiting purpose was along with the 2021 Volleyball Nations League that is going to be held in Rimini, Italy on May 28 –June 27. Two parties were willing to promote their mutual cooperation to highlight sports relations between Iran and Italy. Iran NF is to host the boy’s U19 volleyball team of Italy in Tehran for FIVB World Championship on August 24 – September 2.

TThe NF of Iran also showed their willingness to hold friendly matches for the age-group of Iran teams in Italy.
The NF Iran Intends to invite the Italian ambassador to visit the Iran Volleyball Federation and the national teams training for international competitions.
