Dr. Moradi’s congratulatory message to the executive director of the Asian Volleyball Confederation
In a letter to the Executive Director of the Asian Volleyball Confederation, the head of the Volleyball Federation congratulated him on his membership in the World Volleyball Hall of Fame.
Shanrit Wongprasert, the Executive Director of the Asian Volleyball Confederation, became the first Asian person to become a member of the World Volleyball Hall of Fame. In this regard, on Thursday, January 7, at the end of the year, at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Bangkok, during a ceremony attended by the Thai volleyball family. Coaches, referees, managers, and officials of the Asian Volleyball Confederation appreciated and thanked him for his services and efforts for Asian volleyball. The attendees congratulated him on his membership as the first person from Southeast Asia in the World Volleyball Hall of Fame.
In this regard, Dr. Vahid Moradi, head of the Iran Volleyball Federation, in a letter, appreciated and thanked him for his cooperation with the Iran Volleyball Federation over the past years, and congratulated him on his membership in the World Volleyball Hall of Fame as the first person from Southeast Asia.
Shanrit Wongprasert, who has the title of Honorary Vice President of Asia and Executive Director of the Asian Volleyball Confederation, decided to say goodbye to all his responsibilities in volleyball four years ago at the age of 75. Still, Rita, the President of the Asian Volleyball Confederation, assigned him to be the Executive Director of the AVC. continue to cooperate.
He was born on December 16, 1943, and started playing volleyball in school. He continued to work as a coach, and coaching at university, club, and the Thai women’s national team is part of his background in volleyball. Before being elected as the Secretary General of the Asian Volleyball Confederation, Shanrit worked as the Secretary General of the Thai Volleyball Federation for 30 years, during which time he could maintain his position as the Secretary-General despite the change of 6 presidents in this federation. Since 1992, Shanrit has been working as a member of the Board of Directors of the World Volleyball Federation.
