Dr. Ziayee Elected as the President of Iran Volleyball federation

Tehran, Iran, December 28 – The Electoral Assembly of Iran voted 43-1 to Dr. Ziayee as the new president of Iran Volleyball Federation. Out of 44 votes, the vice-president of IRIVF could earn the majority of them to chair the presidency for the next four years.
Since Dr. Davarzani is the deputy of Sports Ministry of Iran, he entrusted his duties to Mr. Ziayee by the votes of Assembly members. Of course, Dr. Davarzani will stay with volleyball as a supervisor up to 2020 as Dr. Ziayee stayed with him as the counselor and the vice-president in his last 11 years of presidency.
Dr. Ziayee will continue the plans of Dr. Davarzani with the main focus on the development of beach volleyball and women’s national team.
As Iran Volleyball federation have undergone a golden era, Dr. Ziayee is intending to switch an elevated era in which the task is much harder that is to preserve Iranian glories in various parts and to promote their levels even to the higher positions.
He believes: “Iran needs to have a more dynamic league to train better players to be able to take a podium in 2020 Olympic Games. Iranian women team are also capable to be among the top four teams of Asia. There is going to be closer relationships between the different committees in Volleyball federation mainly bounded with Education Department”.
