Eight Iranians in various Central Zone committees
Dr. Mohammad Reza Davarzani participated in the Central Asian Executive Committee meeting, which was held online, at 5:00 PM today. Latif from the Maldives, Jitandra from Nepal, Yarmak from Kazakhstan and Kilic from Kyrgyzstan were among the other participants.
One of the topics of the two-hour meeting was the selection of members of various Central Zone committees, in which eight people from Iran were selected to serve on committees in the region.
Accordingly, Mohammad Shahmiri, Masoud Yazdanpanah, and Morteza Afjaei became members of the competition committee, referees, and indoor volleyball. Mehdi Eslami became a member of the Finance and Marketing Committee, Nader Ansari became a member of the baech volleyball Committee, Javad Mehregan became a member of the Technical and Coaches Committee, Ali Farrokhi became a member of the Disciplinary Committee and Katayoun Arabzadeh became a member of the Central Asia Appeals Committee. A referee committee should be formed.
In this meeting, the members of these committees were also identified and at the suggestion of Dr. Davarzani, it was approved that three training courses for referees, VIS and analysis be held for this region using Iranian experts. A baech volleyball referee arbitration course will also be held in Central Asia at the suggestion of Latif and Yarmak.
Representatives from Bangladesh and India were not present at the meeting, and it was decided that the head of the Central Asian region would write a letter to the Asian Volleyball Confederation and the World Volleyball Federation about the situation in India to take steps to preserve India’s large volleyball community.
