Every Match Has Its Own Specific Plan / Exciting Games Will Be Showcased

The head coach of Foolad Sirjan Iranian volleyball team emphasized that all teams in the Asian Club Championships are strong. He stated, “Our strategy is to take it match by match in the initial stage to achieve our desired results and advance to the next round.”

In a statement following the team’s first practice at the main venue for the 26th Asian Men’s Volleyball Club Championship, Behrouz Ataei expressed his satisfaction that the tournament is being held in Yazd. He noted that with two Iranian teams participating, favorable conditions are expected.

He added, “Fortunately, the hosting situation has been acceptable so far, and I believe that with the presence of renowned international players and strong teams in this competition, the quality of the matches should be commendable. In this regard, exciting games will be showcased, and fans will surely enjoy watching them.”

Ataei reiterated his hope for the matches to be conducted under the best conditions and discussed the status of the participating teams. “All teams are strong, but I believe each match requires its own specific strategy. In our group, I think Qatar and Iraq are very good teams that will compete closely with Sirjan.”

Ataei added, “We have allocated an appropriate amount of time for training and preparation. We have been in camp for almost two months now, and our condition is good. The players are well-coordinated, and we aim to showcase all technical aspects of our game.”

Addressing volleyball fans in Yazd, he said, “We hope that the people of this city come to watch the matches and enjoy the games. The presence of a large number of spectators is undoubtedly a blessing for volleyball, which will be even more pronounced in Yazd.”
