Excitement of Yazd Competitions Increased with Spectators’ Presence
The head coach of the Iranian women’s national volleyball team, Lee Do-hee, stated that Iranians have a great passion for volleyball. She said, “The enthusiasm of the spectators present in the Shahdab Yazd hall has added to the excitement of these competitions, and I enjoyed watching the matches.”
According to the Volleyball Federation’s Communications Department, Lee Do-hee, who was present in the Shahdab Yazd hall this afternoon to watch the host team’s match against the representative of Kazakhstan in the semi-finals of the Asian Men’s Club Championship, expressed her positive opinion about these competitions. She added, “The enthusiasm of the spectators in the hall has increased the excitement of the competitions, making the games more enjoyable.”
She emphasized, “I came to the Shahdab Yazd club to watch the semi-final match between Shahdab Yazd and the representative of Kazakhstan in the 26th Asian Men’s Club Volleyball Championship. The atmosphere here greatly helps the players’ competitiveness.”
Regarding the presence of fans in the court, Lee said, “In Korea, many spectators also come to the hall to watch league matches. I believe Iranians are very passionate about volleyball and eagerly support their favorite team, which motivates the players to compete with more enthusiasm.”
In response to a question about her presence in Yazd, the head coach of the women’s national volleyball team said, “The purpose is to visit the Shahdab Yazd club for a training camp.”
Referring to the latest training camp of the women’s national volleyball team, she added, “In the last camp, the women’s national volleyball team worked on passing and the players’ basic skills, which I hope has helped them a lot.”
Lee also mentioned her visit to the city of Yazd, noting, “Before coming to the hall, we visited the sights of Yazd, which was a new and interesting experience.”
The head coach of the Iranian women’s volleyball team concluded by mentioning the possibility of the team’s participation in the Premier League with the support of Bafq Yazd. She emphasized that she traveled to this province to inspect Bafq Yazd’s facilities and will make a decision after an initial assessment.
