FIVB Coaching Course Level I running in Arak
The FIVB Coaching Course is running in Arak, Markazi Province where Level I course is welcomed by 35 coaches for five days from 1 to 5 November. This international course set up under the direct supervision of Research and Training Committee of Iran volleyball federation.
The course is devised for both theoretical and practical sessions in mornings and afternoons. The course is to be taught by Mr. Khosro Ebrahim from Iran along with Mr. Shihaab Al-Din Al-Riyami from Oman.
Head of Research and Training Committee of Iran volleyball federation, Dr. Shavandi said: “the course is performing in a modern way such that the participants had already prepared the theoretical parts a month ago when the subject matter was provided by International federation”.
He further added: “35 coaches are participating in the course, eight of whom are the ex-players of national volleyball team.”
On the method of selection, Shavandi elaborated: “there were too much application for the course; however, the selections were made based upon their primary provincial evaluation, scientific works, participations in seminars, workshops, and their level of English mastery.”
Dr. Shavandi who is in charge of the course expressed his satisfaction from the motivation reflecting from the participants and put: “the policy of national federation is to held such more courses throughout the country to create the opportunity for more participation”.
