Ghafoori: the priority is to invest on young players
The head of Beach Organization has stressed the priority of Iran Volleyball Federation in investing on young players and said: “I accept fair critiques and I try my best to take the lesson”.
As the Public Relations of Volleyball Federation reported, Ghafoori has indicated the priorities of national federation: “we are trying to invest on young players. Some players as Bahman Salemi, Abbas Pourasgar, and Arash Vakili are the ones we have chosen some years ago as our young players. And this is what we are trying to keep our continual focus on.”
He explained more about U21 national beach players of Iran: “the staff and administrators are working technically at Beach Organization and our goals are predefined. This is why our U21 team A could be successful in Asian Championship and beat powerhouse Australia and Kazakhstan. This team is newly formed of about a year ago and in their first-ever experience they finished the 4th as they qualified for World Championship. I found their performances satisfactory.”
