I Use Every Opportunity to Learn / We Have a Great Atmosphere in the Indonesian Team
The power receiver of Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi volleyball team stated, “I use every opportunity to travel, play volleyball, and learn from others.”
According to the Communications Department of the Volleyball Federation, Ervin Ngapeth, the world’s most renowned volleyball star, who is representing Indonesia’s Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi team in the Asian Men’s Club Championship, said, “I have participated in this tournament before. It is a good tournament with a great atmosphere.”
He continued, “Two years ago, I participated in this competition with Paykan team, and this time I am playing for Indonesia. Naturally, not all spectators are with me, but I am sure the hall will be full of spectators, and there will be a very good and fantastic atmosphere. This is a good event for volleyball. Every cup or medal is very important to me, and I will work hard for it.”
Ngapeth explained about the condition of the Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi team, “I don’t know much about the team’s condition, but we have a great atmosphere. We just met yesterday, and we are all fighting for a medal.”
Regarding Yazd and Iran, he said, “I don’t know much about the city of Yazd, and I have only traveled to Tehran each time, but I know I have many fans in Iran, and it will always be pleasant for me to be in Iran.”
The French receiver of the Indonesian team, in response to the question about recently winning the Paris Olympics and whether he has a specific goal for participating in this tournament, said, “I use every opportunity to travel, play volleyball, and learn from others, and it is important to me.”
He concluded, “I haven’t played for a while, and this is a good opportunity to play and be in good condition. Certainly, winning is one of my most important goals, and I always strive for it.”
