International Referee Course Held in Iran
The Asian Volleyball Confederation has approved Iran’s request to host the International Referees Course. We are pleased to inform you that the decision has been taken in accordance with the policies and regulations set forth by the confederation. We believe that this event will be carried out with the utmost professionalism and adherence to quality standards. Iran has been selected to host the International Referee, scheduled to take place from May 8 to 14, 2004, over a period of seven days. A maximum of twenty participants are expected to attend the event.
The Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) has provided its consent to conduct a course for the Central Asian Zone countries.
As per the regulations of the Asian Volleyball Confederation, Iran, being the host, is permitted to include only four participants in this course. It is mandatory for one of the participants to be a woman, in accordance with the rules and regulations of the confederation.
For the event, it is required that all participants be from Asian countries. The maximum limit for each federation is three participants, with at least one of them being female.
The age range for the participants is between 25 to 41 years old, and the applicants are required to possess fluency in the English language. Additionally, they must have a record of active involvement in the volleyball system of the World Federation through any national federation for at least three years.
Walid Abdul Samad, an Egyptian national, currently affiliated with the Qatar Volleyball Federation, has been appointed as the lead instructor for this course. Additionally, Mohammad Shahmiri, hailing from Iran, will serve as an assistant lecturer for this program.
