Iran in an Agreement with Canada to Promote Volleyball Interactions
The national federations of Iran and Canada made an agreement to develop volleyball.
As the Public Relations of volleyball federation reported, Iran and Canada negotiated in meeting area of lobby in 35th FIVB Congress which is now running in Buenos Aires.
Iranian side were composed of Dr. Mohammad Reza Davarzani, the president along with the General Secretary, Mahmoud Afshardoust and the head of International committee, Hooman Bagheri who were under an agreement with Canadian president of volleyball federation.
They are to sign the protocol as it was agreed on to develop volleyball. Iran volleyball federation have taken such steps before signing contract with US, Serbia, France, Germany, Poland, and Russia.
Canada has made a good progress in recent years as the senior national team beat US, Mexico, Italy in Rio Olympic games and moved up to the play-offs finishing fifth together with Iran, Argentina, and Poland.
On the opening day of FIVB Congress, the workshop were to educate national representatives within three development sessions focused on National Federation sustainable management, communication/social media and Volleyball Your Way provided an excellent platform for discussion and interaction before Brazil Olympic champion and FIVB Athletes Commission President Giba gave an inspirational speech to the audience.
