Iran women’s league to kick off on Oct. 22
TEHRAN – The draw ceremony for the 2020/21 women’s volleyball league was held on Saturday.
The draw ceremony was held at the Iran’s National Olympic and Paralympic Academy in Tehran by the Organizing Committee of Iran Volleyball Federation.
The Iran women’s volleyball league will start on Oct. 22 with stringent health protocols due to a coronavirus outbreak.
The league was originally supposed to be held with 14 teams but nine teams have registered for the new season.
Saipa, Zob Ahan, Barij Esans, Paykan, Sarvghamatan Babol, Setregan Fars, Atlas Tehran, Exxon and Shahrdari Qazvin will participate in the 19th edition of the competition.
