Iranian U19 Women in Baku ready for AVC Championship
The national junior girls of Iran held their 15th preparatory camp in Baku, capital of Azerbaijan.
As the public relations of volleyball federation reported, this is the 15th preparatory camp of national junior girls abroad that ran this time in Baku.
The guys of coach Sadeghi did their trainings within two groups each having a one-&-half hour ball exercise including service and reception.
Three preparatory matches were held in which Iran lost all in straight set to Azerbaijan.
The 16 invited juniors to this camp were Maryam Mousavi, Zahra Balaghi, Sogand Salim, Maedeh Mohammadi, Zahra Ghanavati, Mohadeseh Moshtaghi, Fatemeh Enayat, Haniyeh Barati, Sara Nazari, Zahra Bagheri, Sogand Haghparast, Negin Shirtari, Mona Ashofteh, Masumeh Esmaeili, Fatemeh Solgi, and Hananeh Karimi.
Fariba Sadegi (head coach), Parisa Bahreininejad (coach), Akram Habiblo (Physiotherapist), Effat Nasri (trainer), and Moluk Sharifzadeh (team manager) accompanied the team in this camp.
The national juniors are getting themselves ready for the 18th Asian Women’s U19 Championship (23-31 July) in Thailand.
The preliminary round will begin with 15 participating teams; Iran is in pool III with Japan, India, and Macao.
