Iranian Women’s Super League Champions Tehran Saipa End Season with Victory
Tehran, Iran, January 28, 2021 – The last week of action in Iran’s Women’s Super League saw Tehran Saipa defeat Tehran Paykan in four sets 3-1 (25-15, 25-16, 23-25, 25-12). Tehran Saipa had claimed the league title a week earlier with a victory against Qazvin Shahrdari.
Tehran Saipa and Esfahan Zob Ahan finish first and second in the league. Tehran Paykan end the season in third, followed by Qazvin Shahrdari in fourth position.

Best Spikers: Mahsa Saberi from Saipa & Farzaneh Zarei from Zob Ahan
Best Libero: Zahra Bakhshi from Paykan
The Awarding and closing ceremony were held with the presence of the Vice-president of IRIVF, Dr. Fariba Mohammadian, Dr. Masoumeh Ebtekar, the Vice President of Iran for Women and Family Affairs, and Ms. Tahereh Taherian, the First Vice President of the National Olympic Committee.
