The head coach of Pakistan’s national volleyball team said: “Iran’s serves were powerful and caused us problems in receiving, so we have to fix these issues.”
After the match between Iran and Pakistan’s national volleyball teams, Issanaye Ramires Ferraz congratulated Iran and all the spectators in the hall and the Urmia people for supporting their team with a big party. He believed this match was Iran’s best match during this Asian Championship. He acknowledged that Pakistan’s young team has a long way to go to raise their level. The head coach of the Pakistan national team pointed out that their team’s side-out balls did not work well. Iran’s servers were robust and caused them problems in receiving, which they must fix in future matches.
During the match, Ferraz expressed that although they were influenced by the hall’s atmosphere, he had faith in his players and believed they were beautiful. He also stated that they aimed to secure a better position in Iran, which he felt they deserved. Meanwhile, Mubasher Raza, captain of the Pakistan national team, congratulated Iran on their victory, acknowledging that they were the champions of Asia and a challenging group to play against. Despite having analyzed their opponent, Raza admitted they could not defeat them. He attributed their loss to the lively atmosphere in the hall and the audience’s enthusiastic support for the Iranian team. Looking to the future, Raza affirmed that they would be working on improving their team’s systems in the following stages to achieve success.
