For the first time in history the Japanese volleyball players of close to 200 cm height enter the court.
Sri Lanka take the lead in the first two sets but seems to be totally deconcentrated in the third set as the Iranian fans started to enter Rezazadeh 6000-seat hall waiting to see Iran’s match against Pakistan.
After 2008, Japan lost sequentially two qualifications for the Olympic games until last year, Rio De Janeiro and they are strongly determined to work on their young categories particularly the U23 one seriously.
Fumitoshi Tokunaga, Japan’s Head coach found the tall players very effective to improve their place last year.
Taishi Onodera, Japan’s captain after this win promised they will try to get championship.
