Jiang Jie: It appears that Indonesia has promising prospects for the future
As a coach of Indonesia’s national volleyball team, there is a need for more experience. Some players are participating in competitions for the first time, but the coach is optimistic that Indonesian volleyball will gain more recognition.
After his team’s defeat to Pakistan, Jiang Jie expressed his disappointment, stating they had an excellent opportunity to win the game. However, due to having played three consecutive morning games, his players were exhausted and unable to overcome their fatigue.
He stated that their team played exceptionally well during the third set by applying pressure on the opponent and returning the balls efficiently. He also mentioned that if they could secure one more point in the fifth set, they could add more pressure on the opponent and emerge victorious.
The head coach of the Indonesian national volleyball team commented that many of his players were experiencing such a high level of competition for the first time. Upon closer examination, it was evident that Indonesia had lost most of the games in the fifth set.
To improve in the future, we need to gain more experience. After the match, members of the opposing team acknowledged that Indonesian players could achieve better results by practicing tactics and playing high-pressure games. Agil Angara commented on Indonesia’s victory in the third set, attributing it to the players’ strong spirit. However, he also noted that they struggled in the later stages and ultimately lost the match.
