Kazemi is the best-scoring player in Iran in the match against Italy.
In the recent Olympic qualifying volleyball match between Iran and Italy, Saber Kazemi emerged as the highest scorer for the Iranian team.
In the preliminary tournament stage, the Iranian national volleyball team was placed in the same group as Brazil, the host nation, Italy, Cuba, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Germany, and Qatar. During the fifth match, Iran met Italy at 8:00 PM and suffered a 3-0 defeat.
Saber Kazemi, a member of the Iranian team, was able to score a total of 14 points during the game, thereby earning the title of Iran’s top scorer. Meanwhile, Rinaldi, a player from Italy wearing the number 20 jersey, managed to surpass Kazemi’s score by one point, securing the best-scorer title for Italy with a total of 15 points.
The Iranian national volleyball team garnered 67 points in their recent match, with 34 issues attributed to successful attacks, 7 points earned through effective defense, 2 points from successful service, and 24 points gained from opponent errors.
In the recent match between the Italian and Iranian national teams, the former demonstrated a commendable performance by scoring 75 points. Of these, 35 points were due to successful attacks, 13 issues to effective defense, 4 points to service, and 23 points to the Iranian team’s errors. This outcome showcases the Italian team’s prowess and ability to capitalize on their opponents’ weaknesses.
