Dr. Mohammad Reza Davarzani, at the end of today’s meeting of the Technical Committee, appointed Gholamreza Momeni as the head coach of the Iranian national youth volleyball team.
The Iranian junior volleyball team, as the defender of the championship title, is preparing for a worthy participation in the 2022 Asian Championship to be held in Bahrain.
These competitions were not held in 2020 due to the corona outbreak, and in 2018, Iranian volleyball won the Asian Under-20 junior Championship for the sixth time.
Momeni Moghaddam has a 13-year history of coaching national volleyball teams in his work record, of which 11 years he has been in the base teams.
It is worth mentioning that Momeni Moghaddam in the meeting of the technical committee that was held today in the Volleyball Federation, explained the plans of preparing the youth team to participate in the 2022 Asian Youth Championship.
