Ngapeth’s Teammates Secures Victory to Rank Second Place in their Group
Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi team from Indonesia achieved its second victory on the third day of the Asian Men’s Volleyball Club Championship.
According to the Communications Department of the Volleyball Federation, the third day of the Asian Men’s Volleyball Club Championship continued today (Tuesday, September 11) with four matches held at the 6,000-seat Shahdab Yazd Hall.
Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi team and the Pavlodar Volleyball Club from Kazakhstan, both with one win and one loss, faced each other starting at 11:00 AM in the first match of the day.
The Indonesian representative won the match 3-1, with set scores of (25-17, 25-20, 17-25, and 25-22), securing their second victory and accumulating six points to stand at second-place.
The first set concluded in favor of Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi with a score of 25-17. In the second set, the Indonesian team maintained a close contest and won the set 25-20.
However, in the third set, the Indonesian contenders lost their focus due to several mistakes and were unable to recover the point deficit, ultimately losing this set 25-17 to the Kazakhstani representative.
In the fourth set, Pavlodar Volleyball Club showed no signs of backing down and played more cohesively. However, Jakarta Bhayangkara leveraged the experience of its prominent players to close the point gap and won the set 25-22, securing a 3-1 victory overall.
It should be noted that with this win, Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi has solidified its second-place position and will face the third team from Group B after a day’s rest. Meanwhile, Pavlodar Volleyball Club must compete against the second team from the opposite group following this defeat.
Iranian referee Ebrahim Firouzi and Afghan referee Hamed Aghabarari officiated this match as the first and second referees, respectively.
The Shahdab Yazd team, currently leading their group, will face Sporting Club from Kuwait in the third match of the day, which is set to begin at 5:00 PM.
