President Davarzani Visits a Charity Pronouncing Social Responsibilities of Sports Community
The president of IRIVF, Dr. Davarzani visited the Iranian Charity of “Behnam Daheshpour” in Tehran. As it was decided, Iran Volleyball Federation will extend any financial and moral support to take care of children suffering from cancer.
Mr. president Davarzani is stepping forward to encourage volleyball family to do their social responsibilities well enough along with their professional career.
“Behnam Daheshpour” charity hosted one of the most popular figures in Iranian sports. In a very friendly setting, Davarzani talked to the founders of the charity expressing his support from the children picking a dream from their wishing tree.
All parts of the charity and the facilities available went under call. Mr. president received a brief information on how the servicing system would run and the future perspective of the foundation were also sought.
Dr. Davarzani stated: “Any of the sports officials must be aware of their social responsibilities. This is to enjoy fulfilling our social duties in any countenance.
He further added: “cancer is by itself a grave pain. Children and their parents cannot easily deal with such pains. What if poverty is to be added?! Charities can relieve the pain and I am happy and proud to see “Behnam Daheshpour” is offering such high services to the children regardless of their financial status, nationality, or citizenship”.
He also commemorated the late coach Madani who died of cancer and put: “each year, we lose many of our sports stars and prominent figures because of cancer. I also like to emphasize that “Prevention is better than the Cure”. We must all act united as there are many sources of this monster which is to be amputated to let it go”.
He promised: “Iran Volleyball Federation will do anything to support the charity. I am also very pleased that the charity formed their youth and junior volleyball teams. We will help you in education department to hold any kind of courses to educate people more.”
At the end, president Davarzani came across a tree on which there were too many dreams pinned and Mr. president picked one to make it come true.
