The new head coach of Iran’s women’s national volleyball team said about the goals and plans of the national team in 2023: Next year, four international events are ahead of Iran’s women’s volleyball team, the first of which is the Asian Club Cup, followed by the Challenger Cup of the World League, the Asian Championship. During the meeting that was held in the presence of Paykan club officials in the federation, it was decided that a joint camp will be held between Paykan club and the national team because we have Asian club competitions ahead of us and I hope we can finish these competitions with very good results. And to gain valuable experience to participate in three other events, because one of the main problems of Iranian women’s volleyball is the lack of experience in international competitions

Fatemeh Rashidi emphasized that the presence of national players in the Asian Club Cup is a good preparatory game for the national team to participate in the Challenge Cup, and stated: During the interaction between Paykan Club and the Federation, it became possible to conduct this camp so that we can be more prepared. They participated in the Challenger Cup and I hope that we will enter the Nations League in the women’s group with a good result

Mentioning that success in the Challenger Cup is the biggest good thing that can happen to women’s volleyball, the head coach of the women’s volleyball team said: “After the Asian club competitions, there is a possibility of adding more players to the national team.” We will use all the potential of the country for the camps and we want to have a ready national team. We take each match game by game and have a good plan to prepare for each event. We found problems in the past years by reviewing the video of the games and we are looking to analyze and solve these problems of the players. The presence of the women’s national team in the Challenger Club can be a turning point for the rocket development and progress of women’s volleyball, and surely the path of the development of Iranian women’s volleyball goes through participation in competitions such as the Challenger Cup. As in the case of men, Iran’s entry into the world league was the turning point of their rocket growth
