“We are delighted to work closely with the IOC and Olympic Solidarity to ensure National Federations have the opportunity to apply for Olympic Solidarity grants. The figures for Paris 2024 showcase a significant increase, and we are excited to see the impact of this as we move closer to the Games, and on the sport more generally
“Not only are we supporting our National Federations, together with Olympic Solidarity, but we also work closely with local governments to increase the investment in the sport for better results, as part of our multi-stakeholder approach

The aim of Olympic Solidarity is to provide assistance to all National Olympic Committees for athlete development programs. This assistance is achieved through multi-faceted programs prioritizing athlete development, but also training of coaches and sports administrators, and promoting the Olympic values. Olympic Solidarity also works closely with the International Federations whose sports are on the Olympic program
For Tokyo 2020, four teams supported by Olympic Solidarity qualified for the Games, including the Kenya and Turkey women’s national teams and the Argentina men’s and women’s national teams. The Argentina men’s team also went on to make the podium at the Games with an impressive 3-2 performance against Brazil in the bronze medal match
