Saipa, one more step to the podium place
Tehran, Iran, January 19, 2021 – Saipa with no losing record needs only one point to be the titlist in Iranian Women’s super league.
With four consecutive wins in the final stage, Saipa is stepping on the top of the table that is just one-step status to the podium.
Saipa brushed off Zob Ahan, Qazvin Shahrdari, and Tehran Paykan in the home round of the final stage and pulled off Zob Ahan in the first match of the away round.
Teams should contest for two more days on January 26 and 28 to finish the women’s season in the super league; however, the supremacy of Saipa positioned them atop to need one more step that is only one more point to be the champion.
The updated ranking of the final four teams are as follows:
- Tehran Saipa (12 pts.)
- Esfahan Zob Ahan (6 pts.)
- Tehran Paykan (6 pts.)
- Qazvin Shahrdari (0 pts.)
