Sarmayeh Bank outperformed to advance the quarterfinal

The top-favorite team of Sarmayeh Bank won both matches of play-off to ride on top of pool E.
As the Public Relations of Volleyball Federation reported, In the first match of play-off, Sarmayeh Bank defeated Toyoda Gosei Trefuerza (Japan) 3-1 (28-26, 25-18, 23-25, 25-13) and in the second match Chinese Taipei accepted a straight-set loss (25-21, 26-24, 25-20) to let Iran’s representative ride on top with no loss recorded. As the top team of pool E, Iran is to rival against Maseco TPHCM (Vietnam).
