Seminar of “Advanced Defense Tactics” in Iran

Tehran, Iran, 22 January, 2018 – The seminar of “Advanced Defense Tactics” was held in “National Olympic & Paralympic Academy” with the presence of over 70 men and women coaches.

Dr. Ziayee, the president of IRIVF participated in the opening ceremony along with Mahmoud Afshardoust, the General Secretary and Javad Mehregan the head of education department of Iran and Payman Akbari, the assistant coach of Kolakovic.

Igor Kolakovic, the head coach of Iranian men’s volleyball team instructed the advanced defense tactics of volleyball to Iranian coaches.

The education department of Iran Volleyball Federation held the seminar to promote the technical knowledge of the coaches in Iran. The coaches were required to have international coaching certificate with some years of practical experience in one of the national or premier league teams of Iran in the past three years.

Igor Kolakovic expressed his wonder from the number of participating coaches in this seminar and said: “I did not expect such wave of interest. Iranian coaches are really willing to learn. This was totally evident in their active presence in the seminar and the way they were involved into the discussions.
