The 22nd Cup has determined Pakistan’s position as 8th
The national volleyball team of Pakistan won a challenging and exciting match against Indonesia and secured eighth place. The group, coached by a skilled coach, will strive for seventh place in the final game tomorrow.
Today (Friday, August 25th) at 10:35, the Pakistan national volleyball team will play against Indonesia in the third elimination round of the Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship for the 7th to 10th places. The game will be held at Ghadir Hall in Urmia.
The Pakistanis won against the Indonesian national volleyball team with a score of 3-2 in their recent match. This victory secured their 8th place, and they are determined to compete for the 7th place in their upcoming game tomorrow.
During the match, the Pakistani team won the second, fourth, and fifth sets against the Indonesian team with scores of 25-22, 25-13, and 15-12. However, they lost the first and third sets to their opponents with scores of 25-19 and 25-23.
Homayoun Murshid from Bangladesh and Ganijun from Uzbekistan were in charge of judging this match.
Athletes, mainly those interested in bodybuilding and fitness in Urmia, often discuss the toned physique and well-groomed appearance of Issanaye Ramires Ferraz, the head coach of the Pakistan national volleyball team.
With this result, the Pakistan national team has to wait for the development of the match between the groups of Bahrain and Thailand to compete with the winner of this match for the seventh place.
The 22nd Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship, which started on Saturday, August 19, with the participation of 17 teams hosted by the Islamic Republic of Iran in Urmia, will end on the 26 August with the presentation of the top teams.
