Iran’s national beach volleyball team achieved its second consecutive win by defeating Qatar and its promotion to the elimination stage was confirmed

The second day of the group stage of the Asian Men’s Beach Volleyball Championship was followed today (Tuesday, November 15) with thirteen matches on two beach courts in Bandar Abbas city

In today’s 11th match, which started at 16:00 on the main field of the tournament, Iran team 3 (Sina SHOKATI – Abbas POURASGARI) faced Qatar 2 (Saifeddine ELMAJID – Mahmoud Essam AHMED) in group H

The national team of our country defeated their opponents in two sets of this match with the scores of 21-19 and 21-16, and with the second win, their promotion to the next stage was confirmed

The success in the return attacks was among the victory items of the Iran 3 team in this match, which was formed after the good receptions of Sina SHOKATI

The pair of POURASGARI and SHOKATI will face India tomorrow on the third day of the preliminary stage and if they win, they will go to the elimination stage as the top team of Group H

In another simultaneous match, which was today’s twelfth match of this competition, the teams of Japan 1 (Yoshiumi HASEGAWA – Masato KURASAKA) and Kazakhstan 3 (Artem PETROSSYANTS – Vladislav PUSTYNNIKOV) faced each other and the Kazakhs won this match 2-1

The Japanese won the second set 22-20, but lost to Kazakhstan in the first and third sets with the scores of 21-19 and 15-12
