The Asian Men’s BVB Champs; Iran’s promotion by elimination of Thailand

Iran 1 and Oman 1 teams defeated their opponents and advanced to the top eight teams of the quarter-final stage of the Asian Championship beach volleyball competition
The eighth final stage of the Asian Men’s Beach Volleyball Championship will be followed today (Thursday, November 17) with eight matches on two beach courts in Bandar Abbas city
In the third match of this stage and on the main court , Iran 1 (Abolhamed MIRZAALI – Arash VAKILI) faced Thailand 3 (Dunwinit KAEWSAI – Intuch TECHAKIJVORAKUL)
The national team of our country defeated their powerful opponent in this tough match two, one to become the first Iranian team to advance to the quarterfinals
MIRZAALI and VAKILI lost 22-20 in the second set of this match, but won 21-13 and 15-13 in the first and third sets
MIRZAALI’s attacks played a big role in this victory, and VAKILI’s good passes complemented the Iran team’s attacks against Thailand
In another simultaneous match, China 1 (Likejiang HA – Jiaxin WU) and Oman 1 (ALJALABOUBI Hood – ALHASHMI Mazin) played against each other, and the Omani team defeated Bandar Abbas beach volleyball open Tour champion
The Chinese team won the first set of the match 21-19, but lost the results in the next two sets with the scores of 21-12 and 15-10 and withdrew from the tournament
In this way, the teams of Oman and Iran became opponents in the quarter-final stage of the Asian Men’s Beach Volleyball Championship, which will be held this evening
Also, the teams of Thailand 3 and China 1 finished their work in this competition and managed to get a bonus of 600 dollars for the joint 9th places
The 22nd season of the Asia Men’s Beach Volleyball Championship will end tomorrow (Friday, November 18) with the introduction of the first to third teams
