The Australians claimed their second win on the opening day of the men’s Asian Beach Volleyball Championship as Japan lost to Indonesia
The 22nd Asian Men’s Beach Volleyball Championship started today (Monday, November 14) in Bandar Abbas and will continue until November 18
The third match from the first day of the competition was dedicated to the meeting betweenJapan 1 (Yoshiumi HASEGAWA – Masato KURASAKA) and Indonesia 2 (Gilang RAMADHAN – Danangsyah PRIBADI) from Group E. In this match, which started at 10:00 on the main court, Indonesia managed to defeat the opponent 2-0
Although Indonesia had about 800 team points less than Japan in the Asian points table, in this match it defeated the opponent with 21-18 and 21-16 points and won its first victory
In another match from Group E, two Australian teams(Thomas HODGES – Zachery SCHUBERT) and Kazakhstan(Artem PETROSSYANTS – Vladislav PUSTYNNIKOV) met on the second court. The competition ended in favor of Australia 3 to the superiority of HODGES andSCHUBERT in team points and having 3662 points in Asia against 265 Asian points of PETROSSYANTS and PUSTYNNIKOV
In this match, the Australians defeated their Kazakh opponent 2-0 with the results of 21-13 and 21-18 and registered their first victory
