The coordination meeting of the executive agents of the Beach Volleyball Open Tour and Asian Men’s Championship was held this afternoon (Saturday, November 5th)

The Bandar Abbas Asian Beach Volleyball Open Tour will be held from November 7 to November 11 and the Asian Men’s Beach Volleyball Championship will be held in Bandar Abbas from November 14 to November 18, and the executives of these two tournaments will be held today (Saturday, November 5th) in the hall. This meeting was attended by Jayaraman Srinivasan from India as the technical supervisor of the tournament, Milad Tagvi, the general secretary of the volleyball federation, Nader Ansari, the referee supervisor, Tofigh Kaboli, Supervisor of the Beach Volleyball Committee, Mehdi Abarshi, the head of the medical committee of the volleyball federation, Hamid Mohadi, who is in charge of hotel coordination, Maysam. Nik Ahed, secretary of the Hormozgan volleyball, Morteza Afjeh, head of the informatics committee, Amir Hossein Ahmadinia, director of the communication department of the volleyball federation, Maryam Hasabi, member of the media committee of the Asian Volleyball Federation, Ali Akbar Sadr, head of local referees, Bahram Soleimani, Court Manager, and Kamran Zoghi, the technical head of the tournament

**At the beginning of this meeting, Jayaraman Srinivasan, while expressing his satisfaction with the holding of these two important Asian tournaments in Iran, said:

23 teams participated in the Open Tour and 30 teams participated in the Asian Men’s Championship, and we must wait for the physical presence of the teams in the registration meeting to have more accurate statistics.

He added: The necessary arrangements have been made for the timings of the tournaments, and the first two days of the Open Tour competitions will begin at 2:00 p.m., and the third day of the tournament will begin at 8:00 a.m

Srinivasan also explained about the Asian Championship: After 16 years, Iran is hosting this competition in which 30 teams have participated. I’m familiar with Iran and some of my friends who have executive positions in these tournaments, and I’m happy that we are witnessing the holding of this important beach tournament in this country

Emphasizing the responsibility of executive officers, he stated: Each person should be a good representative of Iran alone and solve possible problems as if they were his problem

Milad Taghavi also expressed his happiness that Srinivasan, as an experienced person, is the technical observer of these two important Beach tournaments, and said: “It’s a pleasure that someone like you, who knows Iran well, is the observer of these two Asian competitions.” The participants in this meeting are experienced people and this hosting is of special importance for us because it was achieved after 16 years. In the continuation of this meeting, Nader Ansari, as referee supervisor of two beach volleyball tournaments, said: Three international referees invited by the Asian Volleyball Federation, along with three international referees from our country and seven Iranian national referees, will judge the Beach Volleyball Open Tour and the Asian Men’s Championship

The referee clinic will be held tomorrow morning (Sunday, November 6) to update the referees on the rules of the day. Because high-level teams are present in these competitions, we have used the best referees in Asia and we are trying to improve the knowledge of the referees so that no problems arise in such competitions
