The teams of China 3 and Indonesia 1 defeated their opponents and were announced as the fifth and sixth teams advancing to the quarter-finals of the Asian Men’s Beach Volleyball Championship
The eighth final stage of the Asian Men’s Beach Volleyball Championship will be followed today (Thursday, November 17) with eight matches on two beach courts in Bandar Abbas city
In the fifth match of this stage and on court number one, Iran 3 (Sina Shoukti – Abbas Pourasgari) faced Indonesia 1 (Mohammad ASHFIYA – Ade Candra RACHMAWAN)
Our country’s national team lost the results to their opponents in two consecutive sets with scores of 21-10 and 21-17 to end their work in this competition. The competition between the two teams in the second set was very interesting and the Iranian players had a good performance against the strong Indonesian team
With 4 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals, Indonesia is the second most proud country in the last 21 Asian Championship beach volleyball competitions
In another simultaneous match, the teams of Kazakhstan 1 (Dmitriy YAKOVLEV – Sergey BOGATU) and China 3 (Zhuoxin LI – Tao XUE) lined up against each other
China 3 won with 19-21, 21-13 and 10-15 points to be introduced as the sixth team to advance to the first stage of the final four of this tournament
In this way, China 3 and Indonesia 1 became opponents in the quarter-final stage of the Asian Men’s Beach Volleyball Championship, which will be held this evening
Also, the teams of Iran 3 and Kazakhstan 1 finished their work in these competitions and managed to get a bonus of 600 dollars for the joint 9th places
The 22nd season of the Asia Men’s Beach Volleyball Championship will end tomorrow (Friday, November 18) with the introduction of the first to third teams
