The Asian Men’s BVB Champs; The unveiling of the 16 promoted teams

The preliminary stage of the Asian Men’s Beach Volleyball Championship ended with the holding of 39 matches and the introduction of 16 teams advancing to the elimination stage

The group stage of the 22nd Asian Men’s Beach Volleyball Championship, which started on Monday, November 14, in Bandar Abbas, ended tonight (Wednesday, November 16)

At the end of this stage, the top 16 teams (the first and second teams of eight groups) advanced to the elimination stage to face each other for the first to third places of the tournament from tomorrow (Thursday, November 17)

The table and classification of 29 teams participating in these competitions in eight groups are as follows:

Group one

1. Iran 1 (Abolhamed MIRZAALI – Arash VAKILI) has three wins and 6 points
2. Qatar 3 (Abdallah NASSIM – Mohamed Ihab ZAKI) has two wins and five points
3. Japan 2 (Takumi TAKAHASHI – Shiro FURUTA) has one win and three points

The second group

1. Qatar 1 (Cherif YOUNOUSSE – Ahmed TIJAN) has three wins and 6 points
2. Thailand 3 (Dunwinit KAEWSAI – Intuch TECHAKIJVORAKUL) has two wins and five points
3. China 2 (Yanwei WANG – Chaowei ZHOU) has one win and four points

1. Australia 1 (Christopher MCHUGH – Paul BURNETT) has two wins and 5 points
